Itasca, IL (July 21, 2008) The Zero Friction Golf Tee was used by top ten performers, Kenny Perry and Dean Wilson at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee, as well as by Ryan Palmer who tied for 11th place.
At the U.S. Bank Championship, Dean Wilson, a Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee tour player, had his best finish of the year, for a finishing place of tied for third at 13 under par. Wilson also finished tied in third at the AT & T National the week of July 3rd. Wilson had a driving distance of 275.5 yards overall and is currently ranked 70th in Fed Ex Cup points.
Another tour for the Zero Friction Tee, Ryan Palmer had his 2nd best finish of the year at tied for 11 at 11 under par. Palmer’s best finish also came at the AT & T National the week of July 3rd, in which he came in 10th place. This week, Palmer had a driving distance of 297.6 yards, putting him in 27th place for the tournament and overall Palmer is ranked 29th in driving distance for the tour, putting him into the top 15%.
To continue the amazing weekend for the Zero Friction Golf Tee, the unstoppable Kenny Perry finished tied for 6th place at 12 under par. Perry gained another 391 Fed Ex Cup points putting him closer to the goal of 1st. Perry is only 1, 871 points behind Tiger Woods and will hopefully continue his streak this year to win. At the U.S. Bank Championship, Perry ranked 7th in driving distance, putting him into the top 10% with an average of 306.1 yards. Overall in driving distance, Perry is currently ranked 27th out of 206 ranking players.
