With 82 Birdies, 2 Eagles and Combined Total of 55 Under Par for the Tournament
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois (July 22, 2008)-Five members of the newly formed W7-Wilhelmina 7-seven of the LPGA Tour’s top players exclusively representing Wilhelmina Artist Management for sponsorship and endorsement opportunities as a whole package and individually-lit up the leaderboard at the LPGA State Farm Classic that concluded Sunday at Panther Creek Country Club.
The W7-which includes Minea Blomqvist, Sandra Gal, Anna Grzebien, Kim Hall, Johanna Head, Mikaela Parmlid and Stacy Prammanasudh-combined to shoot 55 under par for the tournament, including 82 birdies and two eagles on the par-72, 6,608-yard course.
Three W7 players finished among the top 20-and five among the top 50-with Prammanasudh tieing for fourth place at 16 under par; Grzebien tieing for 16th at 12 under and Parmlid tieing for 19th at 11 under. Hall tied for 34th place at nine under while Gal’s seven-under total resulted in a tie for 49th place. Prammanasudh shot in the 60s all four rounds-69-66-68-69-272. Parmlid also fired a second-round 66.
“In my discussions, some people have said to me, ‘OK, the W7 are an attractive group, but can they play?’ “says Dieter Esch, Chairman of Wilhelmina Artist Management, a division of Wilhelmina Models. “Well, I think the way these women performed as a group at the State Farm Classic sums up the answer to that question pretty well.”

Blomqvist, who competes on both the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour (LET), was the LPGA’s 2003 Rookie of the Year and has twice finished in the top 10 of the LET’s Order of Merit list. Parmlid and Hall, who started strong on the LPGA Tour this season, are both fully exempt for 2008.
