The Putting Arc congratulates long-time Putting Arc users and VJ Trolio students, Tim Yelverton and Josh Oller, on their recent tournament victories.
Tim Yelverton won the 2008 Mississippi Open (Mississippi PGA Trustmark Invitational). This win follows VJ Trolio’s win last year, and these were the only Mississippi Open victories by a PGA professional in the past 14 years. Tim is the Short Game Instructor at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi and a former member of the Southern Mississippi golf team.
Josh Oller repeated as champion of the 61st Greenwood Invitational. He birdied the last hole to win by one shot. Josh is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University and was a member of the men’s golf team.
Also, congratulations to the following winners on the various professional tours: Richard S. Johnson (U.S. Bank Championship – Milwaukee), Suzann Petterson (Ladies Irish Open) and Ian Woosnam (Russian Senior Open).
