Daniel Dogan Appointed New Executive Chef & Donna Surrette Named Membership Director
PINE HILL, N.J., July 28, 2008…Pine Hill Golf Club, an award-winning, Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole semi-private facility, located in Southern New Jersey and overlooking the Philadelphia skyline, recently announced that Steven George has been promoted to General Manager, and will oversee all primary operations for the club.
George, who came to Pine Hill in 2007, served as both the Food and Beverage Manager and the Club House Manager prior to his promotion to the General Manager position. George will be responsible for managing all golf club operations, including outings and instruction, food and beverage, marketing, special events, meetings, and more. Prior to Pine Hill, George served as the General Manager/Operating Partner of Changs China Bistro in Atlantic City and Princeton, N.J.
In related news, Daniel Dogan has been named the new Executive Chef at the facility, and Donna Surrette will serve as Pine Hill’s new Membership Director.
Chef Daniel brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and experience to the Food and Beverage department at Pine Hill, having served as both the Executive Chef & Food and Beverage Manager at several high profile four and five star restaurants. In fact, Chef Daniel was responsible for all food and beverage operations at the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles Resort in Pine Hurst, N.C.
Surrette will serve as the new Membership Director, and her responsibilities will include developing and implementing innovative strategies to recruit new members, while also ensuring that current Pine Hill members are maximizing their membership opportunities.
