POWAY, Calif. – Using Aldila’s NV™ Hybrid shaft, the winner of the Senior British Open captured his first victory on either the PGA or Champions Tours by winning in a sudden-death playoff. His victory earned him more than $313,000 and a trip into the field for next year’s British Open at Turnberry.
After taking a year off from golf, the victor of the Children’s Hospital Invitational posted his first win on the Nationwide Tour using Aldila’s NV Hybrid shaft. He shot a 5-under par 279 and won $135,000 catapulting him to seventh on the money list.
Using Aldila’s NV Hybrid shaft, the winner of the Evian Masters captured her sixth LPGA Tour victory and ended a five-year drought by winning a three-hole, sudden-death playoff. With the win she earned $487,500 and an automatic berth into the 2008 ADT Championship.
