LAURINBURG, N.C. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that, in honor of Patriot Golf Day, Golf Pride® grips has formed a partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation. To support the foundation and its beneficiaries, Golf Pride developed a specially-designed red, white and blue all-rubber grip, named the Patriot™.
The industry leader in golf grips will launch the Patriot grip at retailers nationwide during Patriot Golf Day, held over Labor Day weekend. Golf Pride will donate a portion of the proceeds from every grip sold to the Folds of Honor Foundation.

The Folds of Honor Foundation (www.foldsofhonor.org) was created to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members who have become disabled or lost their lives while serving our country. It was founded by Major Dan Rooney, an F-16 pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and a PGA Golf Professional.
The Folds of Honor Foundation’s trademark fundraising and public awareness initiative is Patriot Golf Day, created by Major Rooney in conjunction with the PGA of America. The program is supported by the United States Golf Association and generated more than $1 million to support military families in 2007. This year the event will take place over the Labor Day weekend of August 29 – September 1, 2008.
