WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The National City Million Dollar Shootout announces the qualifying sites for its 2008 contest with the finals of the Shootout to be held November 23 at Trump International Golf Club during the final round of the ADT Championship. There are four ways to qualify for the finals: win a finalist spot at any of the six sites open to the public; win a finalist spot in an official designated charity golf tournament; qualify on the range during the ADT Championship, and the final way to gain entry into the finals for the National City Million Dollar Shootout is beginning mid-October, look for the enter-to-win sweepstakes display at any participating South Florida Publix.
The finalists will not only be shooting for a million dollar hole in one ($500,000 to the shooter and $500,000 to designated charities), but also closest-to-the-pin prizes including a $500 National City gift card, two round-trip tickets on American Airlines, and a Stay-and-Play package at the World Golf Hall of Village in St Augustine, Florida. All proceeds from the National City Million Dollar Shootout will benefit the Susan B. Komen for the Cure Central Florida and South Florida chapters.

The 2008 ADT Championship will feature a $1,550,000 purse with the winner taking home a $1 million paycheck, the largest first-place prize in the history of women’s golf. The ADT Championship will also feature three days of playoffs, with a cut after 36 holes. Players start with a fresh scorecard for the third round, which ends with another cut to the top-eight players. A final-day shoot-out with the remaining players will have them, again, starting with a fresh scorecard for their chance at the $1 million winner’s check.
