DENVER, August 18, 2008 – The YES! Golf C-Groove putter has recorded its eighth victory of the year on the Duramed Futures Tour. Rookie Haeji Kang won the Greater Richmond Duramed Futures Classic over the weekend firing a 3-day total of 11-under par. Kang used the new Donna putter to roll in birdies and capture her first professional victory.
YES! Golf had 54 players using C-Groove putters in Richmond, including top ten finishers, Lisa Fererro, Jenny Su, and Song Yi Choi.
On the LPGA Tour, 29 players used a YES! putter at the CN Women’s Canadian Open including one player who finished T-8th.
At the SAS Masters on the European Tour, YES! Golf had 18 putters in play including the runner-up and eighth place finisher.
The Donna putter is a hybrid putter composed of two different materials. The face is made of aviation-grade aluminum and the body is made of 304 stainless steel with a head weight of 350 grams. The combination of a light face and heavy back generates a high MOI. The design of the putter is a combination of a mallet and cavity-back blade design. The heel toe balance makes it a very forgiving putter. The full offset shaft features a double bend and the cavity of the putter head has a single alignment line. The putter is available in right and left hand for a suggested retail of $300.
YES! C-Groove putters continue to gain popularity on the professional tours and in the golf shops. YES! putters are currently used by more than 200 tour professionals worldwide and recorded 28 wins in 2007. YES! Golf currently has 24 models of C-Groove putters.
YES! Golf, based in Denver, Colorado, is the proven leader in grooved putter technology. Harold Swash, known as the European putting doctor, introduced the innovative theory of concentric grooves in 1995. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making YES! Golf one of the fastest growing putters on the professional tours. For more information on YES! Golf, call 800.845.4327 or visit www.yesgolf.com.
