LAKE TOXAWAY, N.C. — Golf America, the nationally syndicated television show, will feature Lake Toxaway Country Club Aug. 19 through Aug. 25. Completely re-designed by Kris Spence, this par 71 layout sits at an elevation of 3,000 feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Spence, who has gained a reputation for his restoration work on Donald Ross designs, completley revamped this layout that orignally opened in 1962.
Also featured on the program is a look at the adjacent Greystone Inn. This 33-room country inn was awarded the prestigous “Readers Choice Award” by Conde Nast. The Greystone Inn sits on a high bluff overlooking North Carolina’s largest private lake.
