Golf Life producers near completion of 10th season of highly acclaimed national golf series with growing media reach and success on television and internet
DENVER, CO-August 18, 2008 – Action Media Group, the producers of Golf Life, the largest reaching golf magazine television series and golf video internet delivery network, is reporting major gains in 2008. The television company known as Action Television (www.actiontelevision.com), successfully produced nine separate golf commercials for international clients including Fujikura and Nickent Golf this past golf season. In addition, the golf video company successfully produced and distributed over 50 separate product related promotional videos for major golf companies including Titleist, PING, Taylormade, Cleveland, Callaway, Fujikura, Graphite Design, MacGregor, Nike Golf, Golf Logix, SKLZ, Bushnell and others.
Action Media Group Principle Michael Billingsley comments, “We had a great year in the golf business in 2008 by providing our years of programming and Internet video experience to golf companies. Producing successful television commercials and web video campaigns for leading golf companies has helped us learn a lot about their goals. We have been able to refine our complete video delivery package for golf clients in a time when companies are looking for alternatives to older media like print and static websites.”
The company continues to produce and distribute the long running national television series Golf Life, distributing for 24 weeks in the spring and summer on Fox Sports Net to over 100 million subscribers. The 12 episode series will conclude in September, but the company has announced a Winter Special aimed at highlighting holiday golf products and winter golf travel. This special will feature high-end resort segments from Arizona Biltmore, The Boulders Resort and Camelback Resort and Golf Club. Other resort and product opportunities are available for this fall national golf television special. Golf Life will also air a Preseason Special in January of 2009 to kick off the golf season with a look at new products from the PGA Merchandise show and early season instruction.
“We provide our clients a unique opportunity to gain years of commercial production experience with a package that bonuses them inside our national television series Golf Life. Having produced broadcast commercials for companies like Wilson, Nickent, Tommy Armour and others our clients trust we will deliver their creative vision. The added value of providing national television and successful web video distribution is seen as a huge value when choosing us to produce your media,” states Tom Eberts of Action Media Group.
Action Media Group reports that they have been able to attract leading golf companies once they see the level of broadcast production they receive and realize they can utilize tools like 3D animation of their products and well planned scenes featuring golf talent. The company has developed a platform that allows golf companies to gain creative planning, broadcast production, national television distribution and extensive web video delivery in a single media budget.
The principles of the Action Media Group have each spent 20 years in all aspects of golf related media production and distribution. The company has developed a consultation opportunity to provide the “real world” applications and techniques to campaigns for golf related companies. This platform is being introduced at the 2008 PGA Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada this month.
