Sanford, FL – RIFE putters would like to congratulate the winner of the Jeld-Wen Tradition on his 1st Major Championship Tour Title. He shot a bogey-free 65 on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead into the final round with his Rife Barbados putter. An 8-time winner on the PGA TOUR and 4-time winner on the Champions Tour, he rolled in birdie putts on 11, 14 and 15 to finish at 19 under par capturing a three-stroke victory at the Crosswater Club in Sunriver, Oregon. He finished 3rd in Putts Per GIR with a 1.544 average for the tournament. This was also his 2nd Victory on the Champions Tour this season with a RIFE putter in the bag. His paycheck of $392,000 moved him up four spots to number three on the Charles Schwab Cup Points List.
This is RIFE’s 3rd Major Championship in the past 15 months and its 7th Champions Tour Win in 2008. A feat, which is unheard of for a company that doesn’t pay any player to use their equipment.
Week in and week out players on the PGA, Champions, LPGA, and Nationwide Tours rely on RIFE’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $40 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that RIFE Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About RIFE Putters
All of RIFE’s Putters, including the new Two Bar Hybrid, are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
