Highlights on the Tom Knickerbocker-designed layout include the par-3 17th hole, requiring a 175-yard carry over water, and the par-5 fifth, where ponds must be avoided from tee to green. Each hole on the 6,943-yard course carries a name associated with the historic San Jacinto Battleground, where General Sam Houston’s troops defeated Santa Anna and the Mexican Army in 1836.
