Marriott Golf Links Program Invites Golfers to “Earn and Redeem” Marriott Rewards Points for Golf at 20 Marriott Managed Golf Clubs Worldwide; Now Millions of Marriott Rewards Members Can Earn Points for Golf and Redeem Points for Golf, Hotels, Spa, and M
ORLANDO, FL – August 26, 2008 − Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators and the golf management organization of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), today unveiled Marriott Golf Links (www.MarriottGolfLinks.com), a golfer loyalty program that enables Marriott Rewards members to both earn and redeem points for golf. Members can earn Marriott Rewards points for rounds of golf and golf retail merchandise purchases. In addition, members can redeem points for rounds of golf, hotel accommodations, spa experiences, golf instruction, and more. The new program, which does not require a hotel stay, is being offered at 20 Marriott managed golf clubs around the world.
Marriott Rewards is an award winning guest loyalty program with nearly 30 million members, including an estimated 5 million golfers. With the introduction of Marriott Golf Links, members can now earn 10 Marriott Rewards points for every dollar spent on rounds of golf and golf retail merchandise purchases at participating golf clubs. The points will be earned based on individual purchases, as well as group purchases. For example, if a guest spends $100 on golf, they would earn 1,000 Marriott Rewards points… It’s that simple!
Equally important, through Marriott Golf Links, Marriott Rewards members can redeem points for rounds of golf at premier Marriott Golf Clubs, as well as redeem points for luxurious Marriott hotel accommodations, rejuvenating spa experiences, instruction at renowned Faldo Golf Institutes, and much more.
