HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA… Vijay Singh moved up six places to take over the top spot in the FedExCup standings with his playoff victory at The Barclays on Sunday. The victory earned Singh 11,000 FedExCup points in the playoff opener to take the overall lead with 109,500 points. Singh also earned $1.26 million for his 33rd PGA TOUR victory. “I’m swinging well and I’m putting really, really well,” said Singh. I feel really good about the putting part.”

Singh plays the HiBORE XL driver, a Launcher Steel fairway 13° 3-wood, CG1 Black Pearl irons, CG12 wedges and a Never Compromise GM2 Exchange belly putter.

Fellow Cleveland Golf staffer Kevin Streelman missed a 16-footer for birdie at the 18th hole that would have allowed him to join the playoff with Singh. His career best finish, and second straight top-10, during his rookie season has helped boost him from 102nd to 37th and all but guaranteed his playing privileges for next year.

“To get in next week is great. To get in the week after that would be great, “said Streelman. “To get in THE TOUR Championship would be a dream rookie season.”
