Football and Golf Frenzy at Las Vegas Paiute Resort
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is going into a “Frantic Football and Golf Frenzy” on Saturday, September 13, as the home of three Pete Dye-designed Las Vegas golf courses will be the site of an unlimited golf and food event that coincides with the playing of two big-time college football games on national television, Ohio State vs. USC, and Michigan vs. Notre Dame. The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is offering an all inclusive Las Vegas golf deal and tournament that includes three free buffets throughout the day, free drinks on the course, prizes for team play, door prizes, discounts in the pro shop, and the college games available for viewing on “massive” big screen televisions. Everything is included for $169. A 7:30 AM shotgun on the Sun Mountain course “kicks off” the day, followed by regular tee times, if you want more golf, beginning at 1:00 PM on Snow Mountain.

Danny Gans’ Partee Fore Kids Debuts at DragonRidge Country Club
Danny Gans has been named Las Vegas’ Entertainer of the Year multiple times, and has become one of the most successful headliners in Las Vegas. Later this year, he ends a long and very successful run at The Mirage, and in 2009 he will debut at Steve Wynn’s new Encore Hotel as the featured performer. And throughout Gans’ successful run in Las Vegas, he has given his time and money to various causes including The First Tee of Southern Nevada. The program also operates the Danny Gans Junior Golf Academy that offers affordable clinics in addition to instilling positive life skills and core values. And on November 1-3, 2008, Gans will host Danny Gans’ Partee Fore Kids at The Mirage and DragonRidge Country Club, the first time this Las Vegas golf course has been played for the tournament. Las Vegas Golf Hall of Famer Brady Exber Joins ‘The Club’
Brady Exber has won just about everything an amateur golfer in the Las Vegas area can win. He’s won multiple (8 at last count) Southern Nevada Golf Association Player of the Year awards, several major Southern Nevada amateur golf tournaments, a couple Nevada State Amateur titles, and he is already a member of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame. And now, at the amazing age of 52, Exber is getting some national respect. Exber was recently featured in a Golfweek article and on Golfweek TV. The coverage came after Exber made the cut at the U.S. Amateur at Pinehurst and then made it to the final 32 in match play. “When you play in the national tournaments, you have to feel you belong in this club,” Exber told Golfweek columnist Ron Balicki. “Being 52 years old and being from the West, it’s sometimes difficult to feel you’re part of it.” Balicki summed up his article by writing: “To Brady Exber, I say, welcome to ‘the club.’ It’s where you belong.” Click now to check out Exber on Golfweek TV.
