Ponte Vedra Bch, FL (September 15, 2008) – For the 18th time in the last 14 competitions ProQuip Weatherwear makes its mark in Ryder Cup history, this week outfitting the 2008 European Ryder Cup Team at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY.
Since the company’s inception in 1981, ProQuip has been the choice of 18 Ryder Cup Captains, from Nicklaus and Jacklin to Sutton and Faldo. Seven times ProQuip has outfitted both teams in the same year — no other outwear company has done so once.
Additionally, Ryder Cup Europe has announced that ProQuip will be the Preferred Weatherwear Supplier to the European Team for The Ryder Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, South Wales, in October 2010.
