September 16, 2008 (Itasca, IL) With two days left until the Ryder Cup, Excel Golf Products, Inc. has made a limited edition Ryder Cup tee for both the U.S. and European players imprinted with their countries flag on them. Each team player will receive a small bag with the Zero Friction bio-composite eco-friendly golf tees. Team Europe will receive a blue velvet pouch with their tees inside and Team U.S. will receive a red velvet pouch with their tees inside.
Excel Golf Products, Inc. tour player since 2005 Kenny Perry will be playing in the tournament. Perry has had his best season ever in his 22nd year on Tour. He has finished in the top ten at seven tournaments in 2008, three in which he has won. Going into the season, Perry had a goal set of being able to play in the Ryder Cup (which is being held in his home state of Kentucky) and he clinched his goal at the Buick Open where he won at 19 under par on the 29th of June.
