Ladies-Only Program Debuts at Four GTA Locations
(TORONTO) – Golf Town – Canada’s largest golf retailer with unequaled selection and competitive prices at 39 locations coast to coast – announces a free Women’s Kick-Off Night in support of its Links for Women Fall Instructional Clinics, from 6-8pm on Sunday, September 21 at the Etobicoke super centre (1561 The Queensway).
Open to the public, the ladies-only Kick-Off night will feature swing tips and an introduction to the upcoming seminars, as well as a fashion show, hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and exclusive discounts and specials. During the event, and the clinics, the store will be closed to other non-participating consumers.
Available at Golf Town locations in the greater Toronto area, the female-specific, four-part fall instructional series will cover all aspects of the game, including putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and equipment education. Taught by CPGA and LPGA professionals from Links for Women, the country’s premier ladies’ golf school, the sessions are designed to offer players of any ability the opportunity to learn the game in a social, supportive and fun atmosphere.
“Golf’s popularity among Canadian women continues to grow, and events like these are instrumental in helping to foster female participation and excitement,” says Stephen Bebis, President and CEO of Golf Town. “We’re happy to build on the success of our annual Women’s Night Out and expand our roster of programs to include these lessons that not only provide ladies an opportunity to learn, but to meet fellow golfers.”
Following the free Kick-Off event, clinics will be held from 5:30-9:00pm on October 5, 19, November 2 and 23 at a cost of $129 each night, or $99 per lesson if attending all four, at the following Golf Town stores:
• Etobicoke
• Mississauga (3050 Vega Boulevard)
• Scarborough (23 William Kitchen Road)
• Woodbridge (55 Colossus Drive)
