Conover, NC. ~ Defending Champion, R.W. Eaks has won his fourth Champions Tour event at the Greater Hickory Classic using a Fisher Talon TS-3 4-Speed putter.
Eaks has won over 2.75 million dollars in the last two years after putting the Fisher Talon TS-3 in his bag. During that time, he has posted 20 top 10 finishes and now four wins! Eaks has established himself as one of the premier players on the Champions Tour and has more wins in the last 14 months than any other player.
Eaks defended his title in style with an opening round of 61, the lowest round of the year on the Champions Tour. Eaks finished strong with a score of 16 under par and a 4-stroke margin of victory over a very prestigious field.
