GolfObserver.com in association with GolfBallSelector and Exponentia is launching the “Golf Player Challenge”, golf’s first interactive Fantasy Golf Game.
This week, there will be many web-based Ryder Cup “fantasy golf games,” but with “Golf Player Challenge”, players will have an array of questions to test their skill and luck on what happens each day at Valhalla. The game gives players the excitement to pick matches interactively and to have a real interest during the day. As well as the game being Golf’s first truly interactive web game, it is also open to everyone around the world with fans from places like England, Scotland, Ireland, Europe and further afield able to participate and win prizes.
Since the game is fully interactive, players will be challenged each day with questions that pertain to that day’s matches. “Golf Player Challenge” is in four sections, with the first set of questions now open to registered players. Around 6.00pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, new questions will test players on what will happen in the next day’s play. Prizes will be awarded for players with the high points from all the questions, plus daily prizes for those who get the answers right each day. Uniquely, you can just play one of the four games and yet still win.
Players will also have assistance from the editors of GolfObserver.Com in helping answer the questions as the website reports on play in the Ryder Cup. Before each game, players will get email blasts giving them their daily questions and inviting them to log back in.
The ‘Play Action’ platform will be used in hosting the game. Currently several NHL teams, the Indianapolis 500 and other sporting events utilize the platform to help create interest.
