Five other Cup players used VooDoo’s S-core? Technology making it the leading driver shaft

POWAY, Calif. – Boo Weekley used Aldila’s VooDoo shaft featuring S-core™ Technology to go undefeated in his first Ryder Cup competition and help propel the United States to its first Cup in almost a decade. He entered Sunday’s singles competition undefeated and relied on the revolutionary stabilized core of Aldila’s VooDoo shaft to be his ace in the hole carding five birdies and holing out an eagle en route to a 4-and-2 victory.

“This Ryder Cup is pretty awesome,” said Weekley who finished play with a 2-0-1 record. “It’s unreal and it’s a dream come true in golf.”

Boo wasn’t the only one who experienced success with the VooDoo. In fact all of the players who used Aldila’s latest technology thrived during the Ryder Cup competition. In addition, the longest drives in the three-day event were powered by the VooDoo.

Although a good portion of the golf world was focused on the Ryder Cup, the secret and success of the VooDoo spread. At the Viking Classic and Oregon Classic on the PGA and Nationwide Tours, a combined 65 VooDoo shafts were in play, according to the Darrell Survey.

“Tour players continue to choose the VooDoo for the stability, accuracy and increased distance it’s S-core Technology provides,” said Mike Rossi, Aldila’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The secret is the VooDoo’s internal carbon-fiber rib system that dramatically stabilizes its cross-section. The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization. Since introducing it to the Tour, the VooDoo has recorded eight wins including the Ryder Cup, which we believe is the ultimate validation of our new patent pending technology.”
