Itasca, IL (September 25, 2008) Nationwide Tour player Bubba Dickerson recorded his best professional finish at the Oregon Classic. Using Zero Friction Performance Golf Tees, Dickerson posted rounds of 67, 66, 70 and 68 to finish in second-place at the event which concluded on September 21st.
His solid play this week allowed Dickerson to jump from 47th to 26th on the tour’s money list. When the Nationwide Tour’s season concludes in early November the top-25 receive their PGA Tour card for the 2009 season.
John Iacono, Founder and C.E.O of Excel Golf Products, Inc., stated; “Bubba’s finish is a great accomplishment for him and I’m sure it will be one of many to come. We hope that he continues his success with our Zero Friction Tees.”
The Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee has been used to claim over 50 professional tour victories and over 300 top-10 finishes. The success can be attributed to its unique patented 3-prong design that provides less resistance at impact, resulting in longer, straighter drives.
So far in 2008, Bubba Dickerson has averaged 293.6 yards in driving distance on the Nationwide Tour and has hit 71% of fairways in regulation. His scoring average of 70.82 has allowed him to make the cut in 16 of his 24 events along with 4 top-10 finishes.
A Florida-native, Dickerson won the United States Amateur in 2001 at the age of 20. Now, seven years later, his game looks as good as ever.
