Pulsar? & Black Widow? Cleat Models Split Wins At Four FedEx Cup Events; Softspikes Also Wins The LPGA Tour’s Navistar Classic & The Champions Tour’s SAS Championship
Brentwood, Tennessee, September 29, 2008 … PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® golf cleats, the world’s best selling cleat brand, captured the TOUR Championship, with the winner donning the Softspikes Black Widow™ cleat model. This victory, which marked a sweep for Softspikes in the 2008 FedEx Cup, combined with a complete weekend sweep in professional golf as the Black Widow also won the Champions Tour’s SAS Championship, while the Company’s Pulsar Cleat, the #1 Cleat on TOUR, won the LPGA Tour’s Navistar Classic.
In sweeping the 2008 FedEx Cup events for Softspikes, the Black Widow cleat won both The Barclays and The Deutsche Bank Championship, while the Pulsar cleat captured the BMW Championship and TOUR Championship.
Complementing its victories and sweeps, nearly 50% of the field at the TOUR Championship, including 4 of the top 6 finishers, utilized PrideSports products overall.
