Hershey Country Club, originally built in 1930 by Milton S. Hershey, features two distinctive 18-hole courses. The legendary par-73 West Course, site of the 1940 PGA Championship, was designed by Maurice McCarthy. Its tree-lined fairways, lush greens and challenging hazards have hosted PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events. The East Course, a par-71 George Fazio design opened in 1969, features elevated greens, natural hazards and rolling fairways.
Hershey Links overlooks the Hershey cityscape, stretching along 175 acres of natural bluffs and ravines that create a pea ceful setting, while providing ample shot-making challenges. The Hurdzan-Fry layout includes numerous lakes and creeks that impact strategy, along with pot bunkers, multi-level greens, wide vistas and a natural wildlife habitat that includes “deer crossings” along the route.
Spring Creek was originally commissioned by Mr. Hershey himself in 1932, when it opened as the Juvenile Club, the first course in the United States built only for golfers age 18 and younger. Recently renovated and completely modernized, the course is especially popular with families and junior golfers.
Known the world over as The Sweetest Place On Earth, Hershey is located three hours from New York City, two hours from Philadelphia, and 90 minutes from the Washington/Baltimore metro area.
