JUPITER, Fla. -SST PURE will unveil its automated shaft alignment system on Sunday at the Golfsmith Clubmakers Association annual conference in Austin, Texas, Strategic Shaft Technologies, LC, announced Monday.
SST PURE’s computerized shaft alignment technology is currently offered through a network of more than 50 licensees around the world. The current system relies on the user to follow a series of prompts from the computer and can take several minutes to PURE a single shaft, while the automated machine completes the PUREing process in approximately 20 seconds. An individual can be trained to use the machine is less than 10 minutes.
“This is obviously a huge step forward for SST PURE technology, and one that we have been working on for some time,” SST founder Dick Weiss said. “In addition to being a fantastic tool for custom clubmakers, the automated PUREing machine will make our technology available for mass distribution through equipment and shaft manufacturers.”
