JUPITER, Fla. – In response to an overwhelming market demand from European clubmakers, Strategic Shaft Technologies, LC, presented its SST PURE Shaft Alignment technology over the weekend in Munich, Germany, at Golf Europe, the largest golf show of its kind in Europe.
With more than 50 licensees in the United States, SST is turning its attention to the burgeoning custom clubfitting market across Europe.

Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE® shaft alignment process analyzes the structural irregularities that exist to some degree in every golf shaft and locates the shaft’s most stable orientation. By assembling the club with the shaft in its SST PURE® orientation, off-line bending and twisting of the shaft are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface by the golfer improves by up to 51 percent. The process can be performed on existing clubs, new clubs or new shafts – steel or graphite – from all major manufacturers. SST PURE has also been named one of golf’s all-time Top 25 equipment developments by Golf International Magazine.
In addition to dominating the marketplace, SST PURE also dominates on the PGA Tour. In 2008, SST PUREd players totaled more than $125 million in combined winnings.
