PHOENIX – Golf Academy of America (GAA) will host two education seminars for the Southwest PGA on Monday, October 20, 2008 and Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 5pm. The Todd Sones Teaching Seminars are free to all PGA members and limited to 40 professionals.

Todd Sones, one of the top teachers in America as voted by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest, will lead the seminars. Seminar topics include “Increase Your Instruction Revenue through Teaching Putting” and “Teaching Modern Methods – Who it Helps, Who it Hurts.” For more information on Todd Sones, please visit www.toddsones.com.

The Golf Academy of America offers a 16-month program of golf instruction and golf business management, with a curriculum designed to take students from the classroom to the course. PGA Master Professional and GAA Phoenix Director Tim Eberlein says: “Having worked with numerous PGA and LPGA Tour members, and after developing his own method of fitting putters, Todd Sones is more than qualified to teach these two seminars and GGA is proud to host as education is what we do and strive to perfect every day.”

With four campuses in major golf markets – Phoenix, Myrtle Beach, Orlando and San Diego, the Golf Academy of America is a leader in golf education. Founded in 1974, GAA is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), a national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation.
