‘The Hottest Shafts in Golf”‘ #1 wood and hybrid shaft on PGA and Nationwide Tours
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s amazing VooDoo shaft with S-core ™ Technology continues to dominate the Tour as the winner of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open used it help claim his first PGA Tour title. After opening with a 62, he followed it up with a 64, 69, and 68 to finish with a 24-under 263. With the help of the VooDoo, his average driving distance was 303 yards and he hit 82 percent of the greens in regulation.
“This is the eighth win for the VooDoo so far and we have only had it on the Tour for just a short period of time,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “Tour players consistently choose the VooDoo for the stability, accuracy and increased distance of its stabilized core.”
Bahl said that the secret is the VooDoo’s internal carbon-fiber rib system that dramatically stabilizes the shaft’s cross-section.
“The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization,” he said.
Aldila was also victorious on the Nationwide Tour as the winner of the Chattanooga Classic used their NV® shaft to win on the first hole of sudden-death playoff. With the victory he earned a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour and a $90,000 check.
“The Hottest Shafts in Golf” were also the leading wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours, according to the Darrell Survey.
Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
