Graphite Design To Be A Sponsor Of The Remax World Long Drive Championship

SAN DIEGO, CA – October 21, 2008 – Graphite Design, maker of some of the most widely played premium shafts on the PGA TOUR, announced it is a sponsor of the REMAX World Long Drive Championship taking place in Mesquite, Nevada on October 20 – 25.

The 2008 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship has a total purse of $600,000. The open division champion, widely recognized as golf’s biggest hitter, will earn $250,000. ESPN will broadcast 90-minute telecasts of the event on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. ESPN will air the finals at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Christmas Eve and ESPN2 will follow suit with a broadcast at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Christmas Day.
