Nickent Golf recently announced that its Board of Directors had made organizational changes to the executive Team. Key appointments include a new Chief Operating Officer. These changes are in keeping with the continued growth of Nickent’s global golf business.
As a part of an administrative reorganization that allows Nickent to utilize his 36 years of golf industry experience, John B. Hoeflich has been appointed COO for the 12-year-old company, a move that has him more involved in day-to-day operations. Hoeflich previously served as Senior Vice President for Nickent, with the majority of his duties focused on Research and Development and product design. The move to COO makes Hoeflich the definitive company advisor and liaison between the company’s day-to-day operations and the Board of Directors, on which Hoeflich sits.
“With the golf industry going through some challenging times, we’re very pleased to have a pair of very experienced and knowledgeable hands at the operating helm of the company,” said Nickent Chairman of the Board, Tony Moore. “Hoefy is the ideal person to see Nickent through to a more positive market environment ensuring that Nickent can continue its rapid penetration of the highly competitive golf equipment market.”
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Hoeflich will oversee more of the daily administrative business of the 65-employee organization and all of its departments. He brings past experience in sales, tour, marketing, product development and management in his 36 plus year golf industry career.
Stay tuned to NickentGolf.com to go inside the mind of John Hoeflich. Hoefy will be blogging from his new seat as the C.O.O of Nickent Golf.
