DENVER, October 27, 2008 – YES! Golf has signed a distributing agreement with CleanStrike Sports Products to distribute its product line in the U.S. CleanStrike Sports Products is an Ireland-based company that manufactures specially designed cleaning wipes for golf clubs, grips, shoes and bags.
CleanStrike makes two types of cleaning wipes – Grip and Club Cleaner, and Shoe and Bag Cleaner. The Grip and Club Cleaner wipe has a specially developed formula that is designed to get soil and grass out of grooves on the club face, clean along the length of the shaft and absorb grit out of grips, all with just a wipe. Grips are best cleaned after the round, as fluid can take a few minutes to dry on rubber, cork and other grip materials.
The Golf Shoe and Bag Cleaner is suitable for cleaning most golf shoes and bags including leather, coated leather and leatherette. The wipes have a more enriching formula than the club wipes, leaving a residue that not only nourishes leather but leaves a coating that accumulates over time to resist dirt and moisture.
Both CleanStrike products come in a re-sealable, 10-wipe ProPack, which is easy to keep in the golf bag and is ideal for 18 holes. It also comes in a 50-wipe canister. The 10-pack suggested retail is $4.99 and the 50-wipe canister suggested retail is $14.99. The wipes and canisters are 100 percent bio-degradable.
