The 11th PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit

The PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit, The PGA of America’s largest educational event, was inaugurated in 1988 in Dallas, Texas, as a forum for ideas and teaching methods. The Summit evolved from indoor sessions (1988 – 2000) to an all-outdoor classroom amphitheater at The PGA Learning Center.
Theme: Leading Instructional Growth into the Future
Date: Dec. 3-7, 2008
Location: PGA Learning Center at PGA Village, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Format: Five days – featuring Play Golf America Day; Summit Technology Day; the PGA/USA TODAY Golf Tips Hotline; and live, outdoor lessons featuring many of the game’s foremost instructors at the PGA Learning Center

Thursday, Dec. 4 ~ PGA/USA TODAY Golf Tips Hotline – The PGA Education Center
9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
PGA Professionals volunteering to answer calls and offer helpful instruction to callers nationwide.
Summit Technology Day
(Presented by Callaway Golf; supported by Golf Pride Grips, Sky Golf)
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Callaway Golf – Three 20-minute programs on driver, iron and golf ball technology
SkyGolf – A 20-minute presentation on teaching with the SkyCaddie.
Golf Pride Grips – A 20-minute presentation on the technological innovations in golf grips
Callaway Golf, SkyGolf and Golf Pride Grips also will provide product testing opportunities.
