E-version makes resources more accessible to those planning golf outings and events.
Cleveland, OH – To utilize benefits not available in print and to make all content and resources more accessible to those planning golf outings and events, Golf Event has transitioned from a print magazine to a digital magazine. This change commences with the fall 2008 issue (available at http://golfevent.epubxpress.com/) and the magazine remains free to those who qualify.
Golf Event will continue to be published quarterly and all four issues of 2008 are available as e-versions. For those who still wish to receive a print version, the company will offer a paid print subscription. Several issues each year will also be printed at tradeshows where Golf Event is represented.
“Because the majority of our audience plan corporate or high-end charity golf outings and events, and are comfortable with the digital world, we moved up our plans to go digital to build our momentum with our pending launch of our new web based portal of MyGolfEventPlanner.com,” says Brad Seybert, President/Publisher of Golf Event Media. “With our recent presence at the MPI World Education Congress, and the increasing movement towards a more ‘green’ consciousness, we felt the time was right. The digital technology gives us greater flexibility for future growth and to reach more of our target audience, the golf event planner. This might not be viewed as a traditional approach, but we are not a traditional organization and we want to carve our own path and one that gives us the greatest opportunity to get our content to people who plan golf events, and allow our advertisers a better medium for reaching these decision makers.”
