Congratulations also to VJ Trolio for his win in the Golf Cars of Mississippi MPGA Championship, on a cold and windy weekend at Old Waverly in West Point, Mississippi. He had rounds of 74, 77 – 151, one shot better than Tim Basel of the Country Club of Jackson.

Finally, congratulations to the Old Waverly team for defending their Mississippi State Team Championship in the 2008 Bryan Cup.

The field consisted of 16 teams and 80 players, in a college golf format. Old Waverly team member and high school golfer Barrett Edens won the individual honors with rounds of 74, 72 – 146, while fellow team member and former Mississippi State Senior Champion Bobby Maddox finished second with a 149.

High school golfer and Fulton Country Club team member Chad Ramey finished T3 with a 150, while 2006 individual champion Richard Reed finished at 152, to help Old Waverly build their winning margin of 20 strokes. All of the above golfers are long-time Putting Arc users. The other two golfers on the winning team were Chris Mills and Scott Taylor, and they both contributed low, counting scores on the first day.
