PHOENIX, Ariz. – In keeping a focus on education, Golf Academy of America (GAA) is proud to host the upcoming Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) golf tournament on November 15, 2008 at the Lone Tree Golf Course. Juniors will be given a campus tour of GAA Phoenix, meet the professional staff, enjoy lunch and play in a tournament with current GAA students.

“We hope our graduates take away with them not only the skills they need to succeed in the golf industry, but also the traits-from perseverance to sportsmanship- we value in the game of golf and most importantly, in life,” says Tim Eberlein, PGA Master Professional and GAA director of golf.

The Golf Academy of America’s Arizona facility is state-of-the-art, offering students more than just a classroom. GAA’s 16-month program provides graduates with the education required, in golf instruction and golf business management, to get the golf job they so desire. For more information please visit www.golfacademy.edu.

The November event is open to the first 45 players ages 13 to 18, girls or boys. The Junior Golf Association of Arizona serves as the umbrella organization for providing, fostering and supporting comprehensive golf programs for youth in Arizona.
