Champ Wearers Make up Majority of Field.
Marlborough, MA – Although an off week for the PGA Tour, there was still great golf played this weekend at the LPGA event held at the Guadalajara Country Club. With the Lorena Ochoa Invitational coming down to the final holes, the winner came victorious with a one shot lead.
MacNeill Engineering/ CHAMP is proud to announce a strong showing of CHAMP spikes worn in this event. 50% of the weekend field wore the CHAMP Stinger Spike™. The LPGA consistantly has strong showings of the Lady Stinger which was launched back in 2007 as the first ever spike for women. The Lady Stinger spike is 15% smaller than the traditional Stinger spike which is to allow the spike to fit on the smaller shoe soles of female golfers.
“We are obviously quite proud to have such a strong showing at this event of CHAMP spike wearers. As in any equipment the support of the games influencers speaks to the quality of the product. We thank the LPGA players for all of their continued support and look forward to their continued success wearing CHAMP.” Says Harris MacNeill, President of MacNeill Engineering/CHAMP spikes.
