SOUTH KENT, Conn., Nov. 18, 2008 – Ted Kohler, with 10 years experience in the golf industry, has been named membership director for Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, a Tom Fazio-designed, 18-hole private club that opened in 2003.
Prior to joining Bull’s Bridge, Kohler worked as director of sales and marketing for two private social club and residential projects: Poin t Breeze on Nantucket, Mass., and The Palm House in Palm Beach, Fla. At the TPC organization’s flagship private club, Kohler earned “newcomer of the year” and “outstanding club communications” awards from the PGA TOUR.
Subsequently, Kohler assisted several clubs in the metropolitan New York and Philadelphia markets in attracting and enrolling new members, including Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, N.J. and Shadow Isle in Colts Neck, N.J., which has since been acquired by The Trump Organization.
Ted and his wife, Leslie, are in the process of relocating to the Danbury area with their children, Tommy, 10, Lauren, 6, and newborn Charlotte.
