November 25, 2008. Miami, Florida: On Saturday November 22 Anne Sweeney of Hamden CT stepped up to the tee on hole number 9 on the famed Blue Monster course at Doral Resort and Spa. One swing later she was Doral’s first Dream Shot winner as the ball rolled into the cup for her first hole in one. By signing up for Dream Shot at Doral Anne receives a package worth $10,000 that includes an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas where she will join other Dream Shot winners from around the world at the Dream Shot $10 Million Shootout.
“I hit the shot of my life,” said Anne, “we all stood there watching as the ball rolled slowly toward the hole and then just dropped in. It was crazy. We all started jumping and running around. Thank you Dream Shot and Doral for this opportunity.”
