Plans To Introduce New Image, Unveil New Brand And Showcase New Headwear Collection
Findlay, Ohio (November 24, 2008) – Pukka Headwear, designer and manufacturer of premium golf headwear, sets its sights on the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, January 29-31st. Located in booth #5761, Pukka will unveil a renewed image with a new larger show floor presence, formally launch a brand of sport-driven headwear and introduce a custom new collection tabbed as Pukka Remix created by in-house Pukka designers.
PGA Show attendees will experience the formal introduction of seven7under headwear which it purchased from industry veteran John Bond in April of 2008 when he was brought on as Pukka’s Vice President of Sales. They will also get a sneak preview of Pukka Headwear’s newest collection Pukka Remix a combination of premium headwear styles and the latest design techniques made popular by Pukka.
“In general, headwear continues to sell well in pro shops both nationally and internationally. The introduction of our new programs and products gives buyers even more options,” explains John Bond, Vice President of Sales. “The new sport-driven seven7under is the “something different” that the industry has been looking for since performance fabrics and the Green products were introduced. Initial feedback from its first retail exposure at the Ryder Cup was very impressive,” adds Bond.
“The 2009 PGA Expo marks our sixth year exhibiting. Each year we have continued to evolve our presence in Orlando and this year will be no exception. While many brands are choosing to “remain the same” in terms of their show presence, we have decided to invest in ours,” comments James Thompson, Pukka’s Director of Marketing. We will kick things off with a new 20′ x 60′ show display that “shouts” Pukka. We will support the new booth with sponsorship opportunities including being the headwear sponsor for the PGA Demo Day at Orange County National and with the release of exciting new products including seven7under by Pukka Headwear and the Pukka Remix Collection,” adds Thompson.
Throughout the event, Pukka will distribute promotional samples of their new seven7under headwear brand. Its lightweight micro-fiber cap known as the Overtime Winner (OTW) will be available in two-tone black and charcoal with an orange contrast stripe. Also on hand will be Pukka’s ever popular combination PPM/Sport Mesh cap featuring Pukka’s A-Flex four way stretch sweatband. It will be available in solid black.
