Sarasota, Florida, USA-December 4, 2008- GPS Industries Inc. announced their newly formed Call Center is now open for business. It creates a virtual comprehensive support environment for GPSI’ family of more than 300 client golf course and resort facilities worldwide.
“The Call Center accepts inbound support and service calls from its client courses. The winter hours of staffed operation are currently 7AM to 8PM Eastern Time,” said Mike Haas, VP Customer Care.
“The few calls that may come in outside these hours will, for now, go to an answering service. An on-call rep is then immediately contacted for response to customer inquiries. Our technology will soon enable us to eliminate the need for the answering service and callers will go directly to a technician, regardless of the time of the call,” added Haas.
The establishment of the call center further illustrates GPS Industries as the re-emerging GPS leader in the golf industry. Added to its already announced new management team, backing from Greg Norman’s Great White Shark Enterprises and international investment group Leisurecorp and the continuous signing of additional golf course clients worldwide the call service center further demonstrates GPSI’ growth and development.
“We are covering more hours than ever before that our technical staff will be answering any support questions or concerns. Our goal is to answer more calls live, and eliminate reaching an answering service or voicemail.
We have also started making proactive calls to update course information, introduce the new call center and head off any issues early,” said Rob Abrams, Client Services Manager.
“The quality of the product speaks for itself. It provides golf course facilities with tools to offer a better golf experience and opportunities for additional revenue streams. The call center adds yet another benefit to our installation client courses,” stated GPS Industries VP, Kevin Carpenter.
