Natalie Gulbis Helps ‘Best Friend’ Sorenstam Go Out on Top
The long run for Annika Sorenstam, by all accounts, is over, but who knows when she will decide to come back and play again. Lake Las Vegas Resort resident Natalie Gulbis hopes she plays more, but if not, Gulbis helped Sorenstam go out of top as part of the International Team at the Lexus Cup. Gulbis, who has called Sorenstam a “best friend”, won her singles match on the final day and the international team defeated Team Asia 12.5-11.5. Las Vegas Golfer Chad Campbell Parties with President Bush
Chad Campbell was an All-American at UNLV, and has gone on to a very successful PGA Tour career that includes several wins and being a member of the U.S. Ryder Cup team three times. After two losses in his previous Ryder Cup experiences, he and his American teammates won the Cup in 2008, and recently celebrated by visiting The White House and meeting with President George Bush, who told them he watched every minute of the event. While at UNLV, Campbell played at many of the best Las Vegas golf courses.
