Cerritos, CA – GolfBuddy announced today their participation and plans to reveal the GolfBuddy Pro and Tour at the international golf industry’s premier marketplace, the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show, January 29-31, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

GolfBuddy’s booth will be located in the Golf Products and Services section of the Show floor, in booth number 3721. GolfBuddy remains the only handheld GPS rangefinder that comes with courses from across the world pre-loaded and is capable of storing up to 20,000 courses in its memory.

“With the current economic situation, the last thing people want is another bill to pay.” says Harry Jung, GolfBuddy CEO. “By offering our customers pre-loaded courses with no annual membership fees or download fees, we can give them the peace of mind that they are receiving the best possible value on their purchase of a GPS rangefinder.”

GolfBuddy Pro and Tour units both offer the same advanced features, but the Tour comes equipped with a color screen. GolfBuddy automatically recognizes the course and hole from its list of pre-loaded courses and also features a scorecard function that can track and store scores for up to 1000 rounds, a mark feature that measures the distance of the last shot and the ability to add custom target points.

Since its inception in 1954, the PGA Merchandise Show has served the international golf community as an important forum for its leaders to establish the business climate for the upcoming season and conduct the business of the game. As the world’s most comprehensive golf trade show and convention, the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show will once again welcome more than 46,000 industry professionals, Jan. 29-31 in Orlando, Fla., to discover the newest golf merchandise, test the latest equipment and uncover the latest golf apparel trends. Additionally, the PGA Show features multiple programs to grow participation in golf worldwide, increase rounds played, enhance careers and drive profitable retail sell-through.
