‘The Hottest Shafts in Golf’ are #1 woods, hybrids shaft at PGA Tour National Qualifying Tournament
POWAY, Calif. – After nine-combined Tour wins this season it was no surprise that the winner of the PGA Tour National Qualifying Tournament was using Aldila’s VooDoo shaft with S-core Technology™ to help him shoot a scorching 59 on his way to tying a tournament record 32-under 400 and earn his PGA Tour card for the 2009 season.
He closed with a with a 5-under 67 on the Nicklaus Tournament Course in La Quinta, Calif. to lead a total of 28 players who earned their PGA Tour cards for next season.
“Players using our new VooDoo shaft had a combined total of nine wins on the PGA, Nationwide and European PGA Tours in 2008, it’s nice to see that when players need to make the grade, they increasingly rely on the superior performance of Aldila’s innovative new shaft designs,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager.
More and more Tour players are choosing the VooDoo for the stability, accuracy and increased distance of its stabilized core. The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization.
Aldila was also the leading woods and hybrids shaft manufacturer at the PGA Tour National Qualifying Tournament, according to the Darrell Survey.
Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
