NEW YORK, N.Y. (December 10, 2008) – Anna Grzebien, a member of Wilhelmina Artist Management’s W7, regained her full LPGA playing privileges for next season by finishing third at the LPGA’s 2008 Final Qualifying Tournament that concluded Sunday at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Grzebien, a Naragansett, R.I., native who lives in Palm Beach, Fla., fired a final-round 65-Sunday’s lowest round by three strokes-to easily secure her playing card and her spot on the W7. Grzebien birdied the 18th hole on Sunday and won $4,000 for her solo third-place finish.

“Q-School is as pressure-packed a week as they come, especially the final day, and Anna came through like no other,” says Bob Aube, who manages the W7. “When Anna finished her final round, she called me and said, ‘Hey Bob, is that good enough for you? I birdied the last hole just for good measure.’ She was extremely happy, as she should be.

“Anna just finished a book I recommended called ‘Power of Intention,’ and there is no question that helped her with her confidence,” Aube adds. “Finishing the tournament that strong after 90 holes is impressive, and may bring her and the W7 more attention.”

Grzebien, who had to return to Q-School after finishing the 2008 LPGA season 142nd on the money list with $39,109, finished the five Q-School rounds at 14-under par 346. She recorded rounds of 71-70-70-70-65.

“Anna’s performance at Q-School was incredible,” says Dieter Esch, chairman of Wilhelmina Artist Management. “I couldn’t be prouder and happier that she will continue to be a valuable member of the W7 as the group heads into its second year together.”

The W7-seven talented, attractive LPGA players brought together earlier this summer in an unprecedented marketing campaign by Wilhelmina Artist Management-was formed because Wilhelmina, the celebrity division of the fabled Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, believes there is limitless endorsement potential for grouping these seven players. The W7-which includes Grzebien, Stacy Prammanasudh, Sandra Gal, Johanna Head, Minea Blomqvist, Mikaela Parmlid and Kim Hall-personifies Wilhelmina’s mission to provide exceptional service to its talent, while encompassing the company’s goal and vision of bold and dramatic marketing, advertising and sponsorship prospects for Wilhelmina’s corporate clients.
