De Winter Golf Enterprises (www.dewintergolfenterprises.com) has revealed a new expanded schedule for the 2009 Alumni Golf Tournament. The twenty-three week event will create a substantial new playing field and will feature competition between 1900 colleges and universities.
February, 2009 thru June, 2009 will be the timetable in which the events will occur. Florida Gulf Coast will be the venue for this years’ Alumni Golf Tournament. The series will include colleges and universities in the following:
Division One
Division Two
Division Three
NAIA
Jr. Colleges
Tournament Golf Group designed the Alumni Golf Tournament in regards to the promotion of team competition and camaraderie between college and university alumni all around.
Alumni Teams will be vying for more than $ 250,000.00 in Scholarship funds. Individuals and teams will also be competing for over $2,000,000 in amateur approved prize certificates.
Bardmoor Golf Club, Bayou Club, Bloomingdale Golfers Club, The Golf Club @ Bridgewater and River Hills Country Club will host all thirty-eight weeks of CAC competition. The Crown Plaza and Embassy Suites will be furnishing all the accommodations; with the idyllic setting being the Florida Gulf Coast.
