David McLay Kidd named as ‘Architect of the Year’
BEND, OREGON – Tetherow Golf Club in Bend, Oregon was ranked as the #1 “Best New Course of The Year” in the just released January issue of Golf Magazine. The visually striking Tetherow Golf Club is a par 72, 7298 yard layout that was designed by David McLay Kidd (the same world renowned architect who designed Bandon Dunes and the new Castle Course, the seventh course at St. Andrews, Scotland) and topped all others in this annual ranking of the “top 10 new courses you can play.”
