PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, December 16, 2008 – Members of the EWGA now can save on golf instruction at the ANNIKA Academy located at the luxurious Ginn Reunion Resort outside of Orlando, Florida. Created by Annika Sorenstam, one of the greatest female golfers of all time, her boutique-like golf school has become a benefits provider for members of the Executive Women’s Golf Association.

In creating the Academy, Annika shares her passion for golf and fitness. Guests enjoy accommodations at the Ginn Reunion Resort and receive personalized instruction from Annika’s actual coaches; her swing coach, Henri Reis, her sister, Charlotta Sorenstam and her personal fitness trainer, Kai Fusser. Catering to individuals (men, women, and juniors) as well as corporate groups, the Academy keeps its classes very small to ensure intense one on one instruction. The facility includes a fitness room with top-of-the-line equipment, full-service locker rooms and two large hitting booths for covered swing training, video analysis and Callaway Golf club fitting.

Academy guests also have the opportunity to play Reunion’s three beautiful golf courses designed by Palmer, Watson, and Nicklaus. The ANNIKA Academy offers unique two and three day packages that include the opportunity to meet and play nine holes of golf with the legendary Annika Sorenstam. See www.theANNIKAacademy.com

“Our goal is to inspire our guests,” says Sorenstam. “EWGA members share my passion for golf and now can experience the personalized instruction that can take their game to new levels.”

Since its founding in 1991 as the Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA has enriched the lives of over 85,000 women, connecting them to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and fun. This not-for-profit association delivers an extensive range of golf, social and networking opportunities for new and experienced golfers and offers an international network of women interested in the game of golf. There are over 125 local chapters throughout the United States and international chapters in Canada and France.

The EWGA is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. For more information about the association and its membership, visit www.ewga.com
