TaylorMade-Adidas Golf is cutting 170 jobs, or about 12 percent of its local work force, as it integrates its new Ashworth acquisition, according to the North County Times in Southern California. TaylorMade acquired Ashworth Inc., also based Carlsbad, Calif., for $73 million on Nov. 21. … Summit Golf Brands, parent company of Fairway & Greene Ltd. and Zero Restriction Outerwear, announces the integration of its sales force. Todd Martin, president of Fairway & Greene, will add the title of president of Zero Restriction and will manage the sales and business development effort of both brands. Doug Tibbetts, president of Zero Restriction, will be leaving the company at the end of December.
