LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec 19, 2008) – IPAC, The International Professional Association of ClubFitters, has signed on three new sponsors to join its “Custom Fit Center” at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show. Back Nine Lytes, Fit-Chip, and Club-Conex will join KZG, Balance-Certified Golf, FlightScope, and NovaTech Shafts in presenting a series of hourly seminars throughout the show. To see the daily schedule please visit the Expo section of IPAC’s website (www.ipacgolf.com).
The IPAC “Custom Fit Center” (Booth #2425) will be a one-stop center for all golf professionals to learn about the benefits of clubfitting, as well as the techniques utilized by the finest fitters in the world. Throughout the exposition, IPAC members and sponsors will be offering hourly seminars on many clubfitting topics. Highlights include using launch monitors, establishing the appropriate cpm/flex of the shaft, incorporating back-weighting systems, utilizing connector systems, and selecting the right head/shaft combination to create the perfect club for every golfer, regardless of skill, size, strength or budget. Guest speakers and industry leaders will cover the conditioning and health of the golfer and various marketing aspects of custom fitting.
“Survive and thrive is the motto of this year’s IPAC Custom Fit Center” says Mike Dickerson, President of IPAC. “By offering a first rate custom fitting center with excellent service, your business is guaranteed to grow.”
IPAC is a non-profit organization with worthy goals: 1) raise the bar for the clubfitting profession by setting guidelines for skill and integrity; 2) educate the public on what to expect and where to go for a first-rate clubfitting; 3) educate and mentor those who wish to join the profession; and 4) establish a program for continuing education to maintain the highest standards for the profession. The IPAC website contains a wealth of helpful information to guide golfers in to what to expect in a bona fide fitting and a locator to find a professional fitter who has met the skills and integrity required to be an IPAC member.
Professional fitters spend years studying and learning their craft. They know club head and shaft design, they understand the goals of the golfer and they can analyze data from launch monitors and swing analyzers. True professional fitters can improve any golfer’s game. Those who have met a specified level of excellence have been admitted into IPAC by their peers of equal skills.
IPAC recognizes and appreciates the aid and support of its Sponsors including: FlightScope, KZG, Balance-Certified Golf, Back Nine Lytes, Fit Chip, Club-Conex, the G.R.A.A. and NovaTech Shafts. For more information, contact Chris Lesser at lesser@ipacgolf.com or call 818-432-5188.
