Sanford, FL – The February 2009 issue of Golf Digest has hit the newsstands and it’s official…RIFE Putters has made the prestigious Golf Digest Hot List for the 4th straight year! RIFE’s new Abaco putter was honored in the “Mid-Mallet” category while the new Black Barbados Tour Mallet was honored in the “Mallet” category.
Both the Abaco and Barbados received high marks in all categories including 4 out of 5 stars for Look/Sound/Feel and 4½ out of 5 stars for Performance respectively.
The Golf Digest Hot List is derived from in-depth club testing that is administered by a Hot List Panel consisting of 20 player panelists, teachers, scientists, leading retailers, and judges, who this year reviewed 471 products and came up with what they refer to as the “equipment that is most intriguing, and most significant for 2009.” Each product was rated by the panelists and given points in several different categories including, Performance, Innovation, Look/Sound/Feel, and Demand. According to Golf Digest Magazine, “The Hot List products selected are innovative and special, and they advance the game in important ways.”
